A former chief minister of Delhi charged that Rekha Gupta’s new BJP government was “breaking election promises.”

Rekha Gupta, the chief minister of Delhi, retaliated Friday against former chief minister Atishi, who charged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had “broken election promises.”

“The AAP ruled for 13 years, while the Congress ruled for 15 years.” How can they cast doubt on one of our days rather than examining what they did?… On the same day after taking the oath, we convened a cabinet meeting and successfully completed the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which the AAP had obstructed. On the first day, we provided the people of Delhi with a benefit of Rs. 10 lakhs,” the chief minister was cited by ANI as adding.

“They have no authority to enquire about us… We shall now be concerned about Delhi, and under PM Modi’s leadership, Delhi will be granted its rights. Many people want to go, therefore they need take care of their party. They are concerned that many people’s records would be made public when the CAG report is presented to the House,” Gupta continued.

What did Atishi say?

Atishi stated in a video that the BJP had assured Delhi women that they would approve a plan that would provide them with ₹2,500 during the first cabinet meeting. Rekha Gupta took the oath of office together with her cabinet ministers.

The first cabinet meeting was held in the evening at 7:00 p.m. Every woman in Delhi was anticipating the passage of that plan. The BJP began betraying their pledges on the very first day; they failed to pass the plan. The BJP has decided to defraud the people of Delhi.

In addition to departments not assigned to any other ministry, Gupta will have portfolios in the following areas: General Administration, Services, Finance, Revenue, Women and Child Development, Land and Building, Information and Public Relations, Vigilance, Administrative Reforms, and Planning.
Rekha Gupta was sworn in as Delhi’s fourth female chief minister on Thursday after winning the city’s assembly election from Shalimar Bagh.
