Fadnavis conducts warroom meeting on social sector under “Developed Maharashtra-2047” vision.
Apart from these, sectoral committees on agricultural and allied sector; industry and service sector; infrastructure sector; social; administration and environment sector have also been declared.
The state administration announced on Thursday the establishment of several committees in an effort to make the ‘Developed Maharashtra-2047’ vision come true. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will chair the advisory council made up of top Cabinet ministers; Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik will lead the coordination committee made up of senior officials.
Besides these, sectoral committees on agricultural and allied sector; industry and service sector; infrastructure sector; social; administration and environment sector have also been declared. Administrative chiefs of the relevant departments will lead each of these committees, which will include senior officials as well as non-government sector representatives.
By 2027, the goal is to bring Maharashtra’s economy to one trillion dollar; by 2047, to 3.5 trillion dollar. Every industry must leave its mark on the state’s economy if it is to reach ‘Developed Maharashtra-2047’, which the state government has chosen to start. These committees will cooperate with that goal, an official from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) stated.
Earlier, speaking to a warroom meeting of several social sector projects, Fadnavis ordered Saunik to penalise Rs 1,000 per day on the heads of administrative departments postponing notified services on “Aaple Sarkar” portal.
Notified by the state government, 1,027 services under the Right to Services Act have 527 of them accessible on the ‘Aaple Sarkar’ site. Administrative departments have been told to make all their notified services accessible on the site.

Fadnavis stated 138 integrated services from different departments should be made available on the platform by May 31, 2025 and remaining 306 notified services should be placed online by August 15, saying it is essential to offer inhabitants of the state clear and dependable services. Missing the deadline would result in a daily Rs 1,000 penalty on administrative department heads. Fadnavis ordered the chief secretary to send a circular on this matter.
New services that can be notified during the next phase on the Right to Services Act should be included in information by September 15.
