Latur Voter List 2026: How to Check Your Name and Register for Municipal Elections

The municipal voter list for Latur in 2026 is available through official state and national election portals, and residents can check their names or apply to register or update details online or in person using prescribed forms and local election offices.

Where to find the Latur voter list

The updated electoral rolls for Latur are published on the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Maharashtra portal and the Election Commission of India’s voters’ portal, which provide district-, assembly- and booth-wise lists and PDFs for draft, supplementary and final rolls.

Local government and district websites also publish notices and downloadable parts of the roll; the Latur district election department lists procedures and links for new registration, deletions and modifications and the state election commission maintains a separate portal for local self-government voter lists.

Step-by-step: How to check your name online

1. Visit the national Voter Services portal or the CEO Maharashtra website and choose the voter list or electoral roll section.

2. Select the state (Maharashtra), district (Latur), and then the appropriate assembly/municipal ward or polling station (booth) to view or download the PDF for that part of the roll.

3. Use the online search tools on the portals to search by name, age, father/mother’s name, or EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) number to locate your entry more quickly.

4. If a draft roll is available, check both the draft and final rolls and any published supplementary lists to verify late additions or corrections before the finalisation date.

How to register as a new voter (Form 6)

1. Eligibility: You must be an Indian citizen and at least 18 years old on or before the qualifying date specified for the electoral roll.

2. Online application: Use the Voter Services portal to fill Form 6 for new registration; the portal allows you to create or log into an account, fill personal details, upload required documents (proof of age, identity and residence), and submit the application online.

3. Offline application: You can also obtain Form 6 from your local Electoral Registration Office (ERO), Booth Level Officer (BLO) or designated government counters, complete it and submit it in person along with photocopies of supporting documents.

4. Verification: After submission, the BLO may conduct field verification. If the application is accepted, your name will be added to the draft/supplementary roll and then to the final roll before the election.

How to correct or update details (Form 8) and delete names (Form 7)

If your name appears with incorrect details (spelling, address, age), use Form 8 for modification of entries; for removal of a name (for example, when someone has moved permanently and enrolled elsewhere), use Form 7. Both forms can be submitted online via the national portal or in person at the ERO office.

Common updates include change of address within the same assembly or transfer to a different constituency; in the latter case you should apply for deletion at the old address and a new registration at the new address if necessary.

Important practical tips

  • Check frequently: Draft, supplementary and final rolls are published at different stages—check all available lists to be sure you are included before election day.
  • Keep documents ready: Standard identity and address proofs (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence, utility bills) speed online submission and verification.
  • Use EPIC: If you already have a voter ID (EPIC) number, search with it to avoid confusion over duplicate names.
  • Contact local officials: For unresolved issues or field verification queries, contact your Booth Level Officer or the Latur District Election Department.
  • Deadlines matter: Public notices will specify cut-off dates for inclusion in a particular roll; late applications may appear only in subsequent updates.

Registering for special constituencies and services

Separate registration procedures apply for special electoral rolls such as graduates’ and teachers’ constituencies; these are administered through designated portals and may require additional eligibility documents. Voice-based registration and DigiLocker integrations are increasingly offered to simplify document submission in some elector registration drives.

If your name is missing before municipal elections

If you do not find your name in the published roll, immediately submit Form 6 (new registration) or contact your ERO/BLO to clarify whether you are listed under a different spelling or booth. Track the application status on the portal and follow up with the local election office if field verification is delayed.

Using the official portals and the local district election department is the most reliable way to check and secure your registration for Latur municipal elections; plan ahead to ensure your name appears in the roll that will be used for the 2026 elections.
