Eknath Shinde greets Amit Shah Sources said the Shinde Sena is reportedly dissatisfied with several issues, including not receiving Raigad district guardian ministership.
Shinde sees Amit Shah: Amid rumours of discontent inside the ruling Mahayuti, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Sunday morning met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, calling it a “routine visit to discuss development of the state”.
After Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders Sanjay and Sanjana Ghadi joined the Sena under his direction, Shinde told reporters, “Amit Shah is a leader of the NDA and Mahayuti. My interaction with him was to let him know about several developmental initiatives under progress in Mumbai and the state. You (media) create worthless notions and speculations.
Sources say the Shinde Sena is angry about several reasons, including not receiving guardian ministership of Raigad district. Both Sena and NCP have claimed the position, hence the problem stays unsolved. Among other things also include delay in transit of paperwork pertaining to the departments under the Sena ministers.
Shah came to Maharashtra on Saturday and went to Raigad Fort. Later he had lunch at Sunil Tatkare, NCP state chief, home. Shah was in Mumbai on Saturday and departed on Sunday; Shinde met with him before then.
Shinde, though, refuted any Mahayuti internal conflict claiming, they are media inventions.
Sources in BJP revealed, “Eknath Shinde held a courtesy meeting. No problem. He might have brought up certain problems concerning his company and future intentions.
